As women we are only too aware of the constant challenge of ensuring our appearance looks great at all times. Jokes are often made about the amount of time women spend applying makeup. This is a lengthy, natural part of daily life that many women find bothersome and time consuming. This is especially true for those that live athletic lifestyles or have physical conditions that make applying makeup difficult. After having my own permanent costmetics done and later becoming certified to perform permanent cosmetics, I am only becoming more aware and am excited to help others spend less time each day infront of the mirror.
What is Permanent Cosmetics?
Permanent Cosmetics is the art/science of placing permanent color into your skin to replace or enhance traditional makeup. Technically speaking, permanent makeup application is performed by implanting specially designed pigments into the dermal layer of the skin with a sterile, disposable tattoo needle. It is similar in application to conventional tattoos, but with cosmetic specific tools and pigments. Topical numbing creams are used reduce discomfort making the procedure feel no worse than plucking your eyebrows. Procedures are performed safely and sanitary. All equipment is sanitized and needles are individually wrapped and disposable.
